Arrival Time & Important Details for Gala Guests
If you have registered to attend the Chamber’s Annual Awards Gala, here is information which I hope will be helpful as you finalize your plans for the event.
This year staggered arrival times have been assigned. Please help us by adhering to your prescribed time. We have determined arrival windows to ensure expedited seating and eliminate risks of gathering at the registration area. No tickets are needed, we’ll have your name at the registration area. As with all locations on the property, guests will have their temperature checked upon entry. If you cannot locate the email which was sent on April 9, please see the below.
Property Rules & Safety Measures
There are a number of safety protocols being instituted for the Awards Gala and 99th Anniversary Celebration. The Chamber is well aware of the responsibility we carry in setting the example of how to hold a safe, large, in-person event and are working hand in hand with the staff at Little Creek Casino Resort. There are several procedures that will be newly implemented for this event. Instead of a photo booth, we will have a red carpet where Cooper Studios will take photos on your way into the ballroom. Tables will be spread out further than we typically see and guests will wear their masks at all times when they are not seated. This will be strictly enforced. As per state law, those who are publicly speaking are not required to be masked. To ensure distancing and such, we will be utilizing the main stage and have areas marked off for award recipients to accept their plaques and make some comments. We are working hard to make this event as safe as possible and are closely working with LCCR staff to to ensure a safe event. As always, the Chamber encourages open communication. Location & Parking
The Awards Gala will be held in the Skookum Creek Event Center at Little Creek Casino Resort, 91 W State Route 108, Shelton. The event center is located at the southwest corner of the across from the hotel wings. You may drop off guests at the event center and parking is available at the hotel entrance just a short walk away. Cocktail Attire Requested
Due to the nature of this event, guests should wear business professional or cocktail attire. Need some inspiration on the style of dress? Check out the Chamber’s Pinterest Board or the Facebook album of last year’s event.
