Mason Lake Recreation Area

Mason Lake Recreation Area

Mason Lake Recreation Area offers annual access to Chamber members and their employees.

Mason Lake Recreation Area (MLRA) is a beautiful retreat with majestic trees towering over its campground and sunlight reflecting off the water, creating a picturesque location for outdoor fun. This gem was once designated for only Green Diamond Resource Company‘s employees, retirees and guests. Happily, the privilege was extended to Chamber members and their employees in 2016.

One of the largest lakes in the county, Mason Lake is open year-round for fishing. Kokanee is the best catch during the summer and largemouth bass, yellow perch, and brown bullhead catfish are also found. Boating, water skiing, canoeing, and jet skiing are popular on the sparkling mountain lake, or you can just laze on the beach and splash in the freshwater waves.

Chamber members and their employees are eligible to purchase an annual membership pass. This allows for unlimited day use by pass holders, their immediate family, and their guests. Annual or daily boat launch and additional vehicle passes are also available. Pass holders are eligible to reserve campground sites and day use facilities.

To purchase your annual membership, go to masonlakecamp.com. Click on ‘permits’ and then select ‘annual membership pass.’ An annual membership includes one gate card and one vehicle parking pass. If you want a second gate card for your spouse or dependent, you can purchase a second membership. Additional vehicle passes may also be purchased, as well as boat launch access.

Current card holders can make camping reservations online. Park rules and regulations are posted on their website and questions can be answered by contacting park staff directly at (360) 426-0737.
