Chamber Board Sets Goals for 2023

HCC Utilizes Public Works Board Funding Brings Broadband to Underserved

The Chamber marked the completion of two Hood Canal Communications‘ Broadband Projects on January 27. HCC, public officials, project crews, and community stakeholders gathered for ribbon cuttings to celebrate. On Thursday, January 5, the Shelton-Mason County and North Mason Chambers of Commerce, EDC of Mason County and City of Shelton hosted a Legislative Sendoff for Senator Drew MacEwen (R-Union) and Representative Travis Couture (R-Allyn) of the 35th Legislative District. Hood Canal Communications Ribbon Cutting at Eldon Store

HCC Expands Broadband to Eldon Area

The Chamber marked the completion of Hood Canal Communications‘ Eldon Area Broadband Project on January 5. HCC, Mason County Commissioners, project crews, and community stakeholders gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony. HCC was awarded a grant in the amount of $502K from Mason County using American Rescue Plan Act funds. The total project estimate is $627K and will extend HCC’s backbone heading north and provide broadband services in the low-density Eldon area.
