OysterFest Highlights Local Industry & Supports Community Efforts

For locals, OysterFest is a tradition. For visitors, it’s a chance to indulge in the seafood dishes for which the Pacific Northwest is best known. On the first full weekend in October, Skookum Rotary will stage its annual OysterFest, which is home to the West Coast Oyster Shucking Championships. Chambers, EDC to host Candidate forum October 16

As ballots hit mailboxes, the business community will host a community forum for those local races which are contested and directly responsible for creating policy. Contested State Rep, County Commission Candidates Invited to October 16 Forum

This forum will include the candidates for contested races: State Representative and Mason County Commission. This forum will provide each candidate the opportunity for a self-introduction, to answer predetermined questions, and to ask a question of their opponents. This event is free and open to the public. Halloween Spooktacular 2024

Once again, the Chamber is partnering with Shelton Downtown Merchants to present Halloween Spooktacular. The community is invited for an evening of trick-or-treating with local businesses! The event hours are 4:00-6:00p on Thursday, October 31. Railroad Ave will be closed to traffic from First to Fifth, beginning at 2:00p. For decades, the Chamber has recognized deserving businesses, individuals, and organizations through its annual awards program.
