Saint Andrew’s House Expands Vision with Sacred Waters Center for Restoration & Retreat.
Thanks to a generous donation, Saint Andrew’s has acquired the adjacent Harmony Hill Retreat Center, uniting their legacy of compassion with a fresh commitment to personal wellness, racial reconciliation, and environmental care. This new center aims to offer a meaningful space where guests can find renewal. “Saint Andrew’s House and Harmony Hill have been close neighbors on this sacred hill for nearly 40 years,” said Sacred Waters Interim Director Dan Oberg. The Sacred Waters Center represents a collaborative vision crafted by numerous partners and stakeholders, including former Bishop Provisional Melissa Skelton. She convened voices from Multicultural Ministries, Creation Care, Harmony Hill, and Saint Andrew’s House to develop a shared mission for this transformative new center. Together, they have shaped a space dedicated to healing, connection, and environmental stewardship. Saint Andrew’s House offers several ways for community members to support its expansion project and the development of the Sacred Waters Center. Donations are welcome, and gifts can be made monthly, annually, or through bequests.
Volunteers will soon have opportunities to contribute directly through hands-on work retreats, ideal for families, churches, or community groups. Additionally, Saint Andrew’s encourages community members to pray for the project’s success, especially regarding upcoming decisions by the advisory committee and necessary site upgrades.
Save the date for the Sacred Waters Center Open House on Saturday, April 26, 2025. More information to be released soon. View their new website and check for updates at thesacredwaterscenter.org
