Swinging Success at Chamber Golf Tournament
Golf enthusiasts and businesses alike gathered for an incredible day on the greens at the 14th Annual Chamber Golf Tournament, held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Alderbrook Golf & Yacht Club. With warm weather and gorgeous greens, the stage was set for a remarkable event that combined a passion for golf with a commitment to making a positive impact on our community.
The tournament was not just about teeing off and sinking putts; it was a powerful demonstration of the commitment of our members to supporting the Chambers and its community causes. Participants and sponsors witnessed exceptional sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and lots of fun along the way.
After a day of fast-paced play filled with remarkable shots and strategic play, golfers gathered on the exquisitely appointed patio for a summer cookout, cold beverages, and camaraderie. We’re thrilled to announce the winners of this year’s tournament:
Congratulations to First Place Schapp & Shaffer—Nelly & Tony Schapp, Pam Shaffer, and Mark Mansfield. Second place went to City of Shelton—Jared Schuffenhauer, Matt Deemer, Robert Chavis, and Lukas Moody. Lund Custom Machine playing for Heritage Bank—Bruce Lund, Grant Dishon, Greg Harvey, and Eric Lindley—took third. These individuals levied there skill with purchasable advantages to earn positions atop the leaderboard.
In addition to the best ball tournament, the event also featured course contests that added an extra layer of excitement to the day’s proceedings. These contests tested specific skills and precision, elevating the competition and adding an element of fun for both participants and spectators.
Closest to Pin for All Players went to Marr Masfield and Closest to the Line went to Bruce Lund (Men) and Jennifer Rutledge (Ladies). The Ping Pong Drive on Hole #1 was dominated by Greg Harvey, who took home the grand prize basket.
