Chamber, Partners Convene Legislators for Sendoff
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce, North Mason Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Development Council (EDC) of Mason County hosted a Legislative Sendoff featuring the 35th Legislative District Delegation. The delegation included State Senator Drew MacEwen (R-Union), State Representative Dan Griffey (R-Allyn), and State Representative Travis Couture (R-Allyn).
This event provided a platform to discuss the upcoming legislative session, which begins on January 13, 2025. Key topics included the development of Washington state’s critical biennial budgets—operating, capital, and transportation—along with addressing major policy issues and advancing legislation that directly affects the business environment and investment climate.
The program was made possible thanks to sponsors Green Diamon Resource Company and Sierra Pacific Industries.
